A flagbearer hopeful of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Addai Nimo, has promised to deal with corruption in the country if elected as the presidential candidate of the party and consequently becomes President of the Republic.
Speaking with Ghana Akoma evening political show host on Akoma 87.9 FM in Kumasi, Mr. Addai Nimo, reiterated his commitment to deal with corruption and accountability which has affected the development of the nation.

According to him, eradicating the menace of bribery and corruption is a collective call which he requires the input of all.
He said the actions and inactions of Ghanaians have contributed to the increasement of corruption in the country, underscoring the need for concerted efforts at finding lasting solutions.
He stressed the need for all to embark on a crusade for the people to desist from negative practices that retarded national development.
“No country in the world can develop when bribery and corruption has become the order of the day,” he told host Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin.
